Chimney Santa

Good morning everyone... Wow! These Mondays come around so quick...so that means it's time for another 'Make it Monday' Linky party and today our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps...  I have been given this lovely image of Santa to play with which you can find here... sorry my card isn't finished as I have had lots going on this week.  I want to make this into an easel card and if I get a chance to finish it I will put the finished card on later.  I wanted it to be Christmassy and girly as it's for Candice....

I've really tried new things on this card lol!!  Like major distressing of the card and paper, even painted the paper with some crafting paste I bought from Lidl that was cheap as chips, and I think it just looks like that Gesso stuff everyone is using, at a fraction of the price.  The lovely snow flake has been bedazzled with lots of glitter, and is a die from Marianne.  I used chalk ink to colour the craft card and paper and also the snowflake, in baby blue.  My image was coloured with Prisma pencils and the sky is a copic pen, couldn't get the colour quiet right would have liked it a bit darker... My chimney has been covered with snowtex and the snow falling is liquid pearls... everything has had lots of gilitter applied!!...the gorgeous ribbon is from the hobby house and those little heart gems were from Cloes crafts that I got from a show.

Challenges I would like to enter
Bearly Mine - Santa is on his way
Love to create - Anything goes

Bugaboo are offering a very generous prize of 7 lovely single images of the winners choice... and you all know what you have to do... just leave a comment on another entrants card and mention that you saw them on 'Make it Monday'... easy, peasy!  So do come along and show us your lovely PAPERCRAFTS be them new or old!

Now for the best part.. who is my pick for this week.... ta! dah!

It's Lucy from Lucy loves scrapping...
Isn't this card beautiful, I love all the embossing and lovely touches that Lucy has put on this card.  Do pop across to her blog and take a closer look and remember to leave her a little love too:)

Just wanted to update you on my Mum, as you know she went for an angiogram last week, well the results are that she will need to have a bypass... My emotions are very mixed as at 85 yrs old it is quiet a big operation to be having!.. but my Mum being my Mum is all up for it, if it's possible.. Bless her!! They have said Mum is a young 85 and it will make a new woman out of her lol!!  We have lots of test to go for first, but I will keep you updated on how she is doing...
Hope you all have a great week. I think we maybe in for some snow here in Doncaster next week...lovely :)
Lots of Love and Hugs,
Marjorie

And I am going to tell Lucy about her fab card being posted here. You know I have her on my TPS team for a while as a guest designer. :) Take good care my friend and enjoy the snow, if it shows.
