Little Ivy

Good Morning everyone,
What a beautiful day here today in Doncaster, it is so warm, hope it is the same where you are:)  My card for today is "Little Ivy" from lotv, she is just soooo cute..I have really enjoyed making this card.  I must say I was inspired by Jules at Always with a heart she made a beautiful card the other day and used her embossing folders, and it looked so lovely, so thought I would get mine out and give it a go.(thanks hun mwah!!)  I have used the snowflake and stars folder, I think it compliments the card quiet well! What do you think?

Inside - It isn't a good image but gives an idea of what it looks like, I put the little pearl stars on every corner, and little pearls as well.

Lots of Letters

Good afternoon everyone,
What a busy week, not much time for playing, but did manage to get a card finished for Wild Orchid Challenge  The challenge is a Christmas Sketch I used a  LOTV new Christmas stamp I got from Harrogate show, called "Lots of Letters", I just love this image, and the little dog looks just like our jack russell "Cassy"!  I coloured the image with prisma pencils.  I used snow-tex for the snow on the post box and ground, then I used stardust stickles to give everything a sparkle. Papers are memory box mistletoe and the beautiful roses are WOC. I used my trusty Marianne swirl die, which I love and use all the time. I die cut some Marianne snowflakes and gave them the stickles treatment! I don't know where I got the gorgeous gold lace but it is so sparkly!! I love it.  Oh! by the way in  my last post I was not happy with my photo! not the poinsettia flower, Bevs tuturial was so easy and I have made lots for my cards for Christmas! I did sound a bit mardy, didn't I lol!!!

A peek at the inside

just to show the snow, the snow-tex looks really good on the card

I would like to enter this for the following challenges

Hope you like it, still need practice with my camera though! (Mardy again lol!!) Thanks for visiting, I do love to read your comments, have a lovely Sunday!!

Christmas Magic

Hi everyone, I can't believe a week has gone since I last posted!! I've been trying to catch up with some house work, and my craft room for some reason needs a lot of hoovering lol!  My image today is called "Christmas Magic" and it is one of lotv die cuts I bought last year.  Isn't she just adorable, and don't you just love the lovely fairy, and teddy!.  I have glittered her with glamour dust and have used red stickles, and liquid pearls to make her stand out a little more.  I have used Bev's tuturial on how to glitter a flower with twinklets, to make my poinsettia, which is from woc.  You can't really see how glittery it is, I  have spent all morning trying to get the right effect but I am still not happy, hope you can see the sparkle!!

My Prize from The Ribbon Girl

Hi everyone,
It's nice to be back. I've had a problem with my cookies and java script on my blog, have now switched to google chrome, hopefully my troubles are over right!!....... Our holidays were fantastic, it was lovely to see Steven and family.  David and I had so much fun with Liam, oh!! to be three again!!  We are going again in October so not long to wait. When we got back we went to Mid-Wales it was so quiet,NO TV,Computer,or telephone, it was really relaxing, only sheep and cows, Cassie our Jack Russel was in seventh heaven!!  We are all back at work now, Candice started high school, and seems to be settling in quiet well.
Well this is a trial post I wanted to show you my lovely prize I received from The Ribbon Girls in August.   I know it's a bit late, but it is the first prize I have ever won!!  Thank you Mary and Andrea!!
