Good morning everyone....hope you are all enjoying the Olympics, I think it's been absolutely fabulous, I am enjoying every moment, and feel like I've run a marathon sometimes with all the emotion and cheering and the crying with the winners at the end!!! Team GB have really been amazing, and it does make you feel proud when you see such determination from all the athletes!! What a fabulous achievement to be in the top three on the medals chart.
It's time again for Make it Monday #101 linky party.....I wonder if you are the lucky winner of the lovely bling and ribbons prize....pop over to Shirley-Anne's blog
here to find out....good luck!!
This week we are being sponsored by
Bugaboo Stamps and the image I did choose was not quiet right for my hubby who's birthday it was last Wednesday... I will do that next time and you will see why lol!! any how I chose Guy bbq as this is David every Sunday barbecuing for all 5 of us, we have also barbecued in the snow lol!!! I got my inspiration for the clouds from
Chrissy, as I just loved her card the other week with all the lovely clouds ...mine are a bit darker as it's a thundery sky...as that's all we have had for weeks lol!! I used Tim Holtz distressing ink called weathered wood...I did have a little mishap just under the little birdies, my brush just touched the image, and what happened next.... a smudge!!! the image was finished as I coloured the whole thing in first then masked and did the clouds...that's a NO, NO in future as you can always print out a fresh image and start again if you do the masking and clouds FIRST lol!! I haven't had time to do another image, and my hubby didn't even notice the smudge ...well he didn't say anything anyway lol!!
I used contrasting papers for the inside
