It's A Good Day....

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good bank holiday!! David and I took Mum with us to a Land Rover show at the week-end, she's always loved to come with us but it was quiet a struggle for her to get around even with the little walker we bought her.  We had a lovely picnic at lunch time, then Mum and I sat in the sunshine while David went and had another look around on his own.  I feel quiet sad as she's always loved the shows but it's a bit too much for her now.. but we had a lovely day all the same and the weather was kind to us too!

Well it's time for another challenge over at 'Papertake Weekly' and this week you have a lovely variety of options to choose from, or you can incorporate all of them if you like.... I have chosen to do Dawny's lovely sketch plus the colour choice of Blue and Green... Do pop along to the main challenge blog and see all the options.

  13. I love this card Marjorie with it's blue and green theme (not usually my favourite colours together but you have got the mix and patterns just right). A great sentiment stamp as the focal piece and lovely interpretation of the sketch too.

  15. I'm sure it meant a lot for your mum to ride along even if she's less mobile now.
I love sentiment only cards, always have my I'm not always in mood for coloring, and this sentiment is great along with your color choices.

  16. Hey Marjorie - we need a catch up!
I've been having a browse through all your lovely cards, your makes are always so bright and cheerful. I'm really struggling to find the time to come back to blogging, much as I want to, I've had a week off and don't know where it's gone!
    Hope everyone is ok :o)
