Happy New Year

Good morning everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while but life has been a little hectic!!  The kitchen is finished almost, just the kickboards to adjust as the floor isn't straight lol!! but everything else is working great!... Tried to upload some photos from my phone but I will have to get Debs or Candice to help me, my computer doesn't want to upload them, apparently I don't have a driver....should have taken them with my camera really, but it's too late now!  My lovely family came over from Germany so I had a full house for Christmas week, had my Mum, Debs and Candice too.. it was great.  New Year was quiet as Steven and Family went home, and Debs had worked Christmas and New Year so she needed a bit of a break, so David and I had an early night!!

My card for today is very simple, I don't know whether it would be classed as CAS, but I really enjoyed doing it.  I have three birthdays next week so this is the first card... I have used a LOTV Pre-coloured image, from there art pad collection and this is Set 19 Cute Cottage Garden. I bought it as a Christmas pressy for myself lol!! There are some lovely images in this set, my second card is also going to be from this set as I still don't have any time to sit and colour at the moment. (I haven't finished it yet so will put it on later in the week)...

The lovely papers are Raspberry Road Designs 'Beach Bliss'.. also from LOTV.. and the sentiment is 'To Fit Scroll'.  My little cupcake I stamped and paper pieced it to match, a few rhinestones to give it some sparkle, also stickled the main image, distressed and inked the edges of the paper and card and added some faux stitching.  Doing simple is hard as I kept wanting to add other things lol!!!
