Sweet Daisy

Good Morning everyone....how fantastic was the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games!!  David and I stayed up into the wee hours to see it all...The whole ceremony was fantastic and those drummers and all the volunteers were just amazing!, and the lighting of the flame was really something very special!!

Now for another special event....Make it Monday has reached its 100th Linky Party.......I would just like to say a BIG congratulations to our lovely boss Michelle and to all the other member's of the team who have made Make it Monday such a success, and of course all you lovely papercraft enthusiasts!!!......So there is a Special prize this week for one lucky commentator...one of the DT is offering candy to a random commentator, so be sure to visit each DT member and leave a comment...This is the lovely candy up for grabs...2 packs of flourish with a bling, several ribbons and some bows... The inside

I coloured her with Prisma Pencils and gave her flowers a touch of Glamour Dust.  I used Marianne Dies for the little birdie and bird box and fencing.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies and a Memory Box die for the corner.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts touched up with Diamond stickles.  My pearls were from the Hobby house.  I used brown Bazzill card and the Design Papers are called New Leaf by First Edition.  The design papers are really gorgeous and sparkle like you wont believe, they don't show up to well on the pants photos though lol!  The inside is a plainer version....

I love steam punk, but find it difficult to do....I just loved this image and it has been so beautifully coloured by Jacqueline it is steam punk but has also remained very feminine as her lovely sentiment says!!! be sure to visit her and leave a little love.....

Good Morning everyone....It's time for Make it Monday linky party no 99#.  Wow!! we have had over 300 entrants this week , how fantastic is that!  So glad you are all enjoying linking up with us every week, it's such a pleasure to visit you all and admire your beautiful projects!
Now on to my card for this weeks linky party... we are being sponsored by the fun and funky Digi My World this week, and I have chosen to do Brittney from France as Candice my granddaughter went to France last week.  I did want to make her a note book to take with, but run out of time! so I made her this card for when she came back lol!!.  This set comes with several different images...it's really lovely.

I coloured the lovely Brittney with my Prisma Pencils,  and used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares as a frame for her, which I distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.  I made the flowers with two punches and popped a dark brown pearl in the centre.  I tried lots of different flowers, but like my last card the frames are so lovely you don't want to defer to much from them.  The paper was very busy too so didn't need too much embellishment. It still took me all day to decide though lol!!

It is so hard to choose just one favourite out of all those stunning entries, I would love to choose everyone!!  So after much oohing and ahhing....I have chosen this lovely tag for my pick this week, it's made by Shakira who is only 9yrs old....the detail she has put into this is amazing!

I am sure she would be really thrilled if you paid her a visit, her work is really beautiful!!

I am working full time as from today as my manager where I work has taken quiet poorly and was rushed into hospital....she is holding her own at the moment, but will be off work for a couple of months.  We are all helping where we can, so my blogging might have to take a back seat for a while..Will try and visit when I can. A big thank you for coming by week after week, I do appreciate all your lovely comments and read everyone of them,  they do cheer me up and make me smile sometimes too.....so you all take care and have a lovely week...

Best Friends Forever

Good morning everyone, it's time for Make it Monday linky party 98# ...and this week we are sponsored by the lovely Meljen's Designs.  My card is very simple this week, I've tried all kinds of embellishments on it but nothing really looks quiet right.  This image is so cute and I didn't really want to distract from it, so I gave it a lovely frame...which is Fleur De Lis Rectangles by Spellbinders in Black Bazzill card and a computer generated sentiment...four lovely corners from Wild Orchid Crafts and in the centre of each a black gem.  Coloured with my trusty Prismas and glittered up with stickles and liquid pearls....Job done!! JJ Gardening

Good morning everyone from a wet and soggy Yorkshire.  Do hope we get some relief soon...so many people are in such devastation, my heart goes out to them all, it must be heartbreaking to see your home engulfed by a force you can't stop! I was in my car last week and had to go through some flood water, it was quiet frightening..
I would just like to say welcome to my new followers....and a big thanks to everyone for all your wonderful support and beautiful comments, really do appreciate your visits...
I had a couple of wins last week too....Ooooh! I always get so excited lol!!  I won a fantastic prize from the lovely Bev, thought I was only going to receive a roll of tape and my, was I in for a shock lol!!  It is fabulous will post a picture in my side bar..not had time to play with it yet...Thanks Hun Mwah!!  also I got top three for my "Party Frill" card...whooo!...
