Cold Hands Warm Heart

Good Morning everyone from a cold and frosty Yorkshire!! it was -2 this morning when I woke up brrrr! thank heavens for central heating lol!! It's Tuesday again so that means it's time for another challenge over at 'Papertake Weekly' and we have something a little bit different for you this week. Dawny has still created a lovely sketch for you to follow, but if sketches are not your thing there are now three other choices for you to choose from....

It's a sketch / take your pick combi

So you can either do the sketch (it's still a sketchie free for all so you can do any) or you can do one of  the following -

Colour challenge - blues and greens excluding skin and hair tones
Technique - masking, using 2 or more stamps
Product - ribbon or lace

You can also combine any / all if you want.

I have gone with just a sketch
Sketch #96

I have changed some of the elements around a little to fit in with what I wanted to do, I have used a lovely image from LOTV called Cold Hands Warm Heart I had such fun colouring this in with my inktense pencils, but went a bit over board with my liquid pearls... it looks like my little snow man and his lady friend are in a snow storm lol!! You can't see on the photo but I used black gems for their eyes and buttons it really stands out in real life.. lots of snow-tex and glamour dust, I was quiet sparkly myself when I had finished lol!!

A lovely Gift Voucher is up for grabs this week from
So do come along and join us this week, but first take a look at the main challenge blog
and see what my lovely teamies have been up too...

Good morning everyone, ... brrrr I hate this wet and foggy weather, hope it's better where ever you are today.. well I have had a lovely time making my card this week for the challenge over at Papertake Weekly which is .... Soooo Girlie!!... as I wasn't feeling too good with my back I took refuge in my craft room and had a little play... I used one of LOTV's pre-coloured cute squares which I bought quiet some time ago and matched it up with the lovely Snow Princess papers the two worked so perfectly together, I glittered her all up with glamour dust, it's hard to capture with the camera ... She is so lovely, but sadly she has been retired now and is no longer available.

Well it's Papertake Weekly Challenge today and Dawny would love to see two or four legs on your card or both, so I've gone with two and made this card for my little granddaughter Annelie... I think this is one of the sweetest images at LOTV don't you!...

I coloured the image with my ink tense pencils, they are so vibrant these pencils I love them!!...I've ruffed all the edges of the card and inked around the edges, I love the companion set from LOTV, it's the first time I've used it, there are so many lovely elements with it.. I really enjoyed playing and stamping lol!! I still need to colour the inside image but will do that before I post it..

My card today is for 'Papertake Weekly' Challenge, which this week is 'Anything Goes' with the option of Sparkle and Glitter..  I embossed the poinsettia and leaves with gold, I also gold embossed around the image, music sheet and sentiment.. even the stars were gold embossed!! The ribbon is also gold and really does sparkle..
