Time To Celebrate

Good Afternoon everyone,
Its a quick post today as I have been really busy with school hols just starting, I look after my grandaughter Candice, so not had much time for anything this week ha!ha! Anyway my card is for LOTV Challenge - Lets have fun, and its also Wild Orchid Crafts Birthday, so I am entering this card for that as well.  Dena has provided a lovely sketch for Wild Orchids so I have used that.  Really enjoyed making this card, tried lots of new things (for me) I've put clouds on inspired by the lovely Bev.  I have used my own template as I wanted smaller clouds.  Also my favourite lady pops, encouraged me to try other mediums such as chalk etc, which I coloured the clouds in with.  I have had the chalks in my cupboard for at least 3 years never opened!!  Definatly going to use them more often now.

Hope you like this, have to dash, otherwise I'm going to be late ha! ha! Just looked at the preview, but you can't see my clouds very well:( Will have to put more chalk on next time!!

Time For A Cuppa

Good Afternoon everyone,
I have had no electricity all morning, so this will have to be a rushed post as I have to work later.  Had a great time at the week-end, we had a craft show in Doncaster and my daughter and I went for both days!!  It was manic on Saturday and very hot, so Deb and I decided to go again on Sunday to see the demonstrations, the girls are just fantastic,so many ideas!!  They make it look so easy, but when you get home its another story ha! ha!  We met some lovely people, and I had a chat with Bev and Jaquie, both so helpful and kind, really nice people!! Anyway on to my card, not very happy with the photography the pinks all look different, the colour I chose was quiet hard to match up, so painted some of my flowers, and stickled everything!! I've just noticed my ribbon isn't straight, I must have moved it when I put the flowers in at the bottom of the image, it's all set now so can't move it!!  I would like to put this in for LOTV challenge Blue & Pink.

Little Ellie

Good Morning everyone,
I have been really busy this week and it's only Wednesday LOL!  I just don't know where the time goes sometimes. Well without more ado, onto my little card this morning.  I just love this image from LOTV, I have used Donalda's Sketch which is lovely, I always tend to go for the same sort of layout, so this was something different for me.  A friend of my son's in Germany has just had a little girl called Lia, so made her this card, I've really enjoyed doing it, as everything seemed to come together.  I coloured little Ellie in prismas and made my own flower with a die from Marianne, have used this so many times, I just love them.  I don't know what the papers are though as I've had them in my box forever LOL!! I do know the heart one is Papermania. I've stickled everything!  I wanted to use glitter, but am never happy with the result, need some lessons! Will have to go hunting on utube!

Sammie's Card

Good Afternoon everyone,
This is a special post for a very courageous young lady called Sammie.  She has just had major surgery, and it's not the first time she has had this operation. She is doing well, back chatting her mum already by all accounts ha!ha! Do pop over to pop's place for updates on her recovery (also have a look at the gorgeous puppies that have just arrived).
The card I sent to Sammie, was my very first attempt at colouring in with prisma pencils, and has been sitting in my special basket of cards... and like me I hope Sammie just goes from strength to strength!! Get well quickly Sammie!!

Christening Day

Hi Everyone,

Not so nice this morning in Doncaster, but promises of better to come during the day:).  I made this card for last weeks LOTV challenge but didn't have time to post, so this weeks can go on earlier, not a mad rush on the last day as usual ha! ha! It was for my hubby's collegue at work, his little boy was getting Christened.  What a beautiful day it was, and the weather was superb. Anyway enougth waffle!!  I coloured Baby image with Prisma pencils and his skin with copics, which I find a lot easier than promarkers. Lovely wild orchid roses which I blitzed with stickles.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.  I get so excited when some nice lady has visited me and taken time out to leave me a little word - Thank you!  If you get a chance nip over to Pops Place, her little girl Sammie is having a big op soon, and is very nervous, if you could send her a little card I think you just might brighten her day and let her know she's not on her own, and lots of people are thinking about her.
Hope you all have a lovely day,

Red, White and Blue

Hi Everyone,
What a lovely day again, sun shining, summer could almost be here lol! Made a card for my brothers birthday. I've used a Kenny K digi called Chico's Chopper!! I really thought I was a bit out of my depth to colour Chico, but I persevered and I am happy with the result.  My photo skills don't really do it justice, if any one can give me any tips how to take photo's I would be very grateful!!  I have used copics for the skin, and all the rest is coloured with prisma pencils.   Hope you like it :)

The image is: Kenny K Chico's Chopper
Colouring: Prisma Pencils and Copics
Paper: Nitwits Beep Beep

I am going to enter this for Kenny K's Challenge

Hope you all have a nice evening.
